Current Work
I’m interested in studying transdiagnostic mechanisms like emotion regulation and reward sensitivity in adults. I’m highly interested in improving the effectiveness of treatments for mental health disorders.
Currently, I’m investigating the impact of the sleep-wake cycle on neural reward sensitivity using EEG data. I am also coordinating the Black EEG Study that aims to improve the quality of EEG data collected on Black participants with hair that require braiding. Additionally, I am a programmer and coach in an emotion regulation treatment study in Dr. Sheri Johnson’s lab. Finally, I am studying mood dynamics and the impact of menstrual cycle on mood.
